Abstract


Although fracture of abutment screw appears in small proportion of mechanical complications, removing fractured screw is harassing situation to clinicians, often leads to fixture removal. Several studies have been presented the screw removal techniques, but usually withdrawing the remnant with a sharp edge instrument should be the first choice of treatment. In this report, we described successful screw removal cases with simple anti-rotation movement of endodontic explorer, with or without microscope.
